Photo post: the Cotswold Lavender fields

By the time you read this I shall be in the Netherlands on a week’s holiday, so I’ve scheduled this post to go live in my absence. I know I already shared some of this year’s Cotswold Lavender photos in my July update, but I took so many that it seemed a shame for them to sit uselessly on my camera. So here they are in their own post, which I don’t think warrants too much of a commentary. I’ll just say that Cotswold Lavender is based near the gorgeous village of Snowshill, surely one of the most picturesque spots in the Cotswolds. The air is filled with the scent of lavender and the sound of bees merrily buzzing around the infinite tiny purple flowers. It’s an almost surreal sight, as you can see…
