There’s something about nice stationery that makes work seem so much more enjoyable, and a recent fab stationery find of mine has done that in abundance. Stationery lovers, feast your eyes on these GORGEOUS daily and weekly planners from designer Alexia Claire.
I discovered Alexia’s beautiful stationery via Etsy, but have since discovered she also has her own website (linked to above). I asked my parents to buy these for me for my birthday, so Alexia doesn’t know I’m writing this review! As a freelance copywriter, I have numerous projects on the go at any given time, and keeping track of deadlines can be challenging. Not so with this super weekly planner, which features one of my favourite animals, the hedgehog, plus a cute mushroom design along the top. With this handy planner I can now map out my entire week and see where I have gaps where I can fit in any last-minute work that might get sent my way.
Even better than the weekly planner is the daily planner, which I use in conjunction with the weekly one. It’s similarly adorned with fab illustrations of woodland creatures, including another favourite of mine (owls). Not only is there space for the standard ‘To Do’ list, so you get the satisfaction of ticking stuff off, but you also have a load more fun little boxes to fill in. You can plan what you’re going to have to eat (which is great because I’m always forgetting to get meat out of the freezer in time), what you need to buy, and what meetings and other important times you have to remember. You can also use it to keep track of what exercise you’ve done, how much money you’ve spent, and even how much you’ve had to drink.
My favourite bit of the daily planner is in the bottom left-hand corner: “Three positive things from today”. Sometimes it’s easy to get so bogged down with work that you forget to record the little things that brighten up your day.
I’m going to keep all my daily sheets, as they will be lovely to look back on in years to come. Visit Alexia’s website to get your hands on yours!
