The Real Flower Confetti Field

Lee has been doing a great job of finding interesting places for us to visit recently. With recent notable successes including Tewkesbury Abbey and Belas Knap Long Barrow, his latest triumph was a beautiful flower field near Pershore. The flowers here are used to make real flower petal confetti for weddings, and are grown by the aptly-named Real Flower Confetti Company. For one week of each year, the field is open to the public, and for a mere £2 you can stroll around and take photos to your heart’s content. It’s a photographer’s (and Instagrammer’s, and blogger’s!) dream, with backdrops including Bredon Hill and Pershore Abbey. Most of these photos were taken by Lee on the big camera, but there are a few of mine taken on the iPhone thrown in. The photos speak for themselves, so enjoy!

Of course we had to fly over it to see it from the air, which looks just as amazing! You can just make out the runways of RAF Pershore in the background of this one.
